Indonesia’s National Children’s Day in July is more than just a celebration; President Prabowo Subianto aims to take tangible steps to ensure the future of the nation’s children. The government has launched three key programs focusing on children’s well-being: Nutritious Free Meals (MBG), Free Health Checkups (CKG), and School Revitalization. The MBG program goes beyond providing food by delivering essential nutrients like iron to combat anemia, ensuring children receive proper nutrition for growth and development. CKG offers free health checkups for students to detect and prevent health issues early on. Additionally, the School Revitalization Program plans to renovate over 11,000 schools to address the lack of basic facilities in schools nationwide. President Prabowo has allocated Rp 20 trillion in the national budget for this initiative to improve school conditions, focusing on the most vulnerable schools first. These programs are integral to protecting and promoting the well-being of Indonesian children, fulfilling their constitutional right to health and education.
