President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, graced the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, the event saw President Prabowo exploring various exhibition booths, including Padjadjaran University’s showcasing of innovative research products like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses.
Subsequently, President Prabowo addressed the audience in Sabuga Hall, expressing his gratitude to the key stakeholders present, such as the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, and the Rector of ITB, Professor Tatacipta Dirgantara. With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 aims to drive a national economic transformation through research and technological innovation, aligning with the country’s vision for Golden Indonesia 2045.
Moreover, the convention highlights exhibitions from key sectors like energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. KSTI 2025 plays a vital role in the government’s long-term strategy to support Indonesia’s economic development and technological advancement beyond the year 2045.
