Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) prices remained stable in Tuesday morning trading on December 23, 2025, with both showing slight gains. According to data from coinmarketcap.com, Bitcoin prices rose by 0.24% in the last 24 hours and surged by 3.03% over the week. Currently, Bitcoin is priced at USD 88,624 or Rp 1.48 billion. The total market capitalization decreased by 0.04% to USD 2.99 trillion or Rp 50.127 trillion.
Financial Expert Ajaib Panji Yudha noted that in the institutional market, there was a massive net outflow of USD 497.05 million or Rp 8.3 trillion from BTC ETF trading last week. However, retail investors continued to take advantage of price corrections below the USD 90,000 level. The total assets under management (AUM) of ETFs have fallen to USD 114.87 billion, seen as part of a neutral market structure to maintain long-term momentum.
Bitcoin and Ethereum struggled to regain recovery momentum throughout last week after a decline in the previous week. Panji mentioned that from December 15 to 21, Bitcoin traded between USD 85,000 – USD 89,000, with repeated unsuccessful attempts to break the $90,000 threshold. This week, BTC could potentially reach USD 94,000 or Rp 1.5 billion. Similarly, Ethereum ($ETH) also aimed to stay above the psychological level of USD 3,000 or Rp 50.29 million.
