Rekor Baru: ETF Bitcoin BlackRock Miliki 806.700 BTC
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has accumulated 806,700 bitcoins (BTC) worth approximately USD 63.7 billion or Rp 1.097 quadrillion. This total marks an all-time high for BlackRock’s bitcoin Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), following nine consecutive days of net inflows. IBIT added around 21,500 BTC, reflecting the growing institutional demand for regulated bitcoin exposure as BTC trades near USD 78,000.
Currently, BlackRock Fund controls about 49% of total spot Bitcoin ETF assets in the US, positioning it well ahead of FBTC Fidelity and GBTC Grayscale. The ETF recorded net inflows on 48 out of 62 trading days during the first quarter of 2026, totaling approximately USD 8.4 billion or Rp 144.7 quadrillion for the quarter.
Purchasing momentum increased in mid-April, with IBIT withdrawing USD 291.9 million or Rp 5.02 trillion on April 15 and USD 269.3 million or Rp 4.6 trillion on April 10, based on ETF flow data. The ongoing demand pushed total holdings past 800,000 BTC for the first time. In the broader market, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have reversed capital outflows for four months, collecting around USD 2 billion over four consecutive weeks with positive net inflows. IBIT contributed approximately USD 1.7 billion to this total.
Despite achieving a record, IBIT is no longer the largest corporate Bitcoin holder. MicroStrategy Inc. recently surpassed the ETF with 815,061 BTC on its balance sheet, regaining the top position lost in the second quarter of 2024.
